Coach Rodrick Robinson is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  He graduated from Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta.  He attended Arizona Western College in Yuma, Arizona as well as Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he received the Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business. Coach Robinson is currently pursuing the Master of Science Degree in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.

While attending both colleges, Coach Robinson was an All-American & All-Conference football player at the Tight-End Position.  After playing college football, he began his career coaching football and softball at Johnson C. Smith University, Cheyney State University and Clark Atlanta University.  Coach Robinson has worked in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School system for the past 7 years most recently as the Dean of Students. He believes in and is passionate about teaching students the importance of serving Christ, loving family, leadership, teamwork and discipline. 

Coach Robinson is married to LaDonna Addison Robinson and has two children, Kristopher and Tyrik, that reside in Charlotte, North Carolina. He enjoys watching the Atlanta Falcons and spending time with family and friends.
