  • What is Continuous Enrollment?

When students enroll in BCA, we believe they are committed to continuing their BCA K-12 education with us. Since over 90% of our academy families remain at BCA year after year, BCA moved away from a yearly re-enrollment process to continuous enrollment. Continuous Enrollment flips the script on typical re-enrollment, where nonreturning families “opt out.” In other words, if you are coming back after signing your “Continuous Enrollment” contract, you will never have to worry about this again.
  • What happens once I'm enrolled

Once all our families are on the “Continuous Enrollment” program, the typical reenrollment season (January through February) will simply be a communication reminder from the Admissions Office informing the families that might be thinking about leaving our school to notify us prior to February 1.
  • When is Continuous Enrollment agreed upon?

As of 2017, all currently enrolled families have signed BCA’s Continuous Enrollment contract. Any new enrolled student’s families will sign the contract during their enrollment process.
  • What is the penalty if I break this contract?

BCA families that are re-enrolled but break the contract by disenrolling their students after the specified date will be contractually obligated to pay 2 months of tuition. While that penalty may seem steep, many schools require a semester or even a year of tuition once a family is enrolled for the following year. BCA makes plans based on the students we believe are returning to BCA as well as our newly enrolled students. We make hiring decisions and purchase curriculum based on the expected number of students, so breaking your contract causes undue expenses on the school. It is vital that our families be up front and honest about their plans for the upcoming school year by February 1.
  • But what about unique circumstances? I’m planning on keeping my kids at BCA until college. What if God has other plans for my family?

We have built flexibility into our contract. For major life changes or unique circumstances like moving 25+ miles away from our school, if BCA can no longer meet your child’s educational needs, if we ask your family to leave, or if there is some unforeseen circumstance that our Board of Director approves, there will be no financial penalty.
  • What does the Continuous Enrollment Contract Look Like?

    • I hereby opt into continuous enrollment. This means that my BCA students will keep coming back to BCA every year unless I tell the school otherwise.
    • I understand that I have until the end of January every year to notify the Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Admissions Office of any changes in my plans of enrollment for my child/ren
    • If I breach this contract by disenrolling my child/ren after February 1, I understand that I will be contractually obligated to pay 2 months of tuition as a penalty.
    • Unique Circumstances. Bethlehem Christian Academy recognizes that family plans change. For any unique circumstances (such as the following) families disenrolling after the announced deadline will be exempt from the 2 months tuition penalty:
      • Moving/Relocation 25+ miles away from Bethlehem Christian Academy.
      • Educational needs for the student can no longer be met at Bethlehem Christian Academy as determined by the BCA APP teams.
      • Disenrollment at the request of Bethlehem Christian Academy. Other circumstances as approved by the Board of Directors.
  • What do I get out of this?

    Simplicity.

Guaranteed placement. With increasing enrollment, we are either at or near waitlists in many of our grades. Placement in next year’s class is an increasingly sought-after spot. By opting into continuous enrollment, you will be locking down that coveted seat for your child until graduation.
  • What is the Continuous Enrollment fee?

The Continuous Enrollment Fee (which is replacing the enrollment fee) is technically our “seat holder/placement fee”. This payment is collected to assist the BCA administration in effectively preparing our budgeting and staffing needs. The $100 Fee is applied to each students FACTS account for their March payment
