BCA's Class of 2020-21 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Officially meet the 2020-21 Valedictorian and Salutatorian
BCA's Class of 2020-21 Valedictorian and Salutatorian have officially been named! Congratulations to our Valedictorian, Thomas Wilson, and our Salutatorian, Abigail Lapp. The two friends were surprised with a celebration by our Advisement Team to officially recognize these amazing achievements and honors!
Our Valedictorian, Thomas, came to BCA in 2018 at the start of his 10th grade year. While in high school, he has been a part of the National Honor Society, participated in basketball and track for the Knights, and is a Georgia Merit Scholar. Thomas plans to attend University of Alabama to study Business Accounting.
Our Salutatorian, Abigail, came to BCA in 2018 at the start of her 10th grade year. While in high school, she has been a part of the National Honor Society, ran track for the Knights, is a Georgia Merit Scholar, chapel small group leader, and a member of Lighthouse. Abigail was also recognized as our STAR Student for the 2020-21 school year. The PAGE STAR program honors Georgia’s highest achieving high school seniors who have the highest score on any single test date of the SAT taken through the March test date of their senior year and be in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average. Abigail selected Mr. Kristopher Pinson as her STAR teacher who has been the most instrumental in her academic development. Abigail plans to attend Georgia Tech to study physics or earth/atmospheric sciences in hopes of becoming a volcanologist.
BCA is incredibly proud of these two and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them! Congratulations Thomas and Abigail!
Our mission is to create a desire to know and serve God in the hearts of our students by equipping them academically, physically, spiritually, and socially to fulfill God's purpose for their lives.
