Bethlehem Christian Academy opened its doors on Wednesday, August 11 for the 2021-2022 school year with its highest student enrollment to date. The Academy, including the weekday preschool program which will resume classes after Labor Day, welcomes over 740 students for the new school year.
“We are thrilled about how God is working here at BCA,” said Rhonda Whiting, the Academy’s Head of School. “We have committed this school and every year of instruction to Him, so any growth and success we experience is because of His goodness and faithfulness. I love watching the ways God works in the lives of our students and staff, and I can’t wait to see what He’s going to do during this school year.”
In addition to a larger student population, BCA welcomed many new teachers and staff members for the upcoming year. Exciting updates and additions were also made to campus facilities, including new classrooms, a new Life Skills and Innovation Lab and new locker rooms.
When students arrived for their first day of school, they were greeted in true BCA Knights fashion. Elementary students entered the school to the music of medieval trumpeters, while upper school students were welcomed by the BCA senior class and given a special gift upon arrival.
“What makes BCA truly special is how we love on our kids and pour into them,” said Whiting. “Our close-knit community is what sets us apart – it's the BCA way.”
The Academy seeks to create a desire to know and serve God in the heart of our students by equipping them academically, physically, spiritually, and socially to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
