Jesse Hutchinson named December 2021 BCA Senior of the Month
Congratulations to Jesse Hutchinson, who was recognized today at the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce luncheon as Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Senior of the Month for December 2021.
Jesse is currently ranked 8th in BCA’s senior class with a 95.7 average and 3.95 GPA. He participates in varsity football and track and field. During last year’s track season, he placed 6th in the state for discus. He also volunteered at our football camp over the summer to help coach elementary and middle school players.
Academically, Jesse is highly intelligent and thrives in a project-based setting. He has won BCA’s “Pumpkin Wars” contest three years in a row, and recently built an impressive diorama of an Anglo-Saxon village as part of his ELA Beowulf project.
Jesse in an active member of Ironworks, an organization for BCA male high school students who have a desire to grow spiritually, serve their community and provide mentorship to younger students.
Christy Pence, BCA Director of Student Support, describes Jesse this way: “He is a faithful friend and positive influence on our campus. Jesse makes people laugh, cheers on all of his classmates, and is dependable and solid. Younger students look up to Jesse, and he truly makes our school a better place.”

BCA holds dual accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is a member of numerous professional and educational organizations including the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), and the Atlanta Christian School Association (ACSA).
