Congratulations to Lauren Howard and Brady Logan, who were recognized last week at the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce luncheon as Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Seniors of the Month for October and November 2022.
Lauren Howard has been a student at BCA since the 4th grade and has a 3.9 overall GPA. She is a very active member of BCA’s athletic program, playing on the tennis, softball and basketball teams. She is also a member of National Honor Society and Beta Club. Lauren started the prayer team at BCA in the 10th grade, she was part of Barrow Leadership in the 11th grade, and she is currently the 12th grade class Vice President. After graduating from BCA, Lauren plans to attend Liberty University to pursue a degree in interior design with a minor in student ministry.
BCA Bible teacher Landon Frymire said about Lauren, “Lauren’s leadership is transforming the culture at BCA. She leads the student-led prayer ministry and recently took the initiative to create and coordinate a prayer team that serves during our Friday Chapel service. Her passion for Jesus is seen and felt through her obedience in the quiet and humble acts of love for her Savior and others.”
Brady Logan has attended BCA since the 9th grade and has a 4.0 overall GPA. He is a member of the football and baseball teams and has served as BCA’s football team captain for two years. He is a member of National Honor Society, Beta Club, and is currently the Student Body President. Brady is still considering his options for college, and he plans to play football after high school and discover what path God has in store for him.
Melonie Hawn, BCA Biology teacher and Beta Club sponsor, said this about Brady: “Brady is a natural leader. As Co-President of our Beta Club, he is respected and well-liked by his classmates. Brady is kind to everyone and just a really nice guy. If you know Brady, you know he's a genuine person.”
Congratulations to both Lauren and Brady!
