Timothy Doolittle and Savannah Mauck named BCA Seniors of the Month for January, February 2023
Congratulations to Timothy Doolittle and Savannah Mauck, who were recognized this week at the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce luncheon as Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Seniors of the Month for January and February 2023.
Timothy has been a student at BCA since the 4th grade and currently has a 4.0 GPA. He is a very involved member of BCA’s athletic program, as a successful basketball and track athlete. He has played basketball for 10 years and has served as team captain both as a junior and a senior. He also received all-region basketball honors last year as a junior. A member of the BCA track team since sophomore year, Timothy won region in long jump and triple jump as a junior and went to State for the 4x100 relay, long jump, triple jump, 4x400 relay, and 100-meter dash.
Timothy is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club and also served as the Junior Class President last year. He is also a member of Ironworks, an organization for BCA male high school students who have a desire to grow spiritually, serve their community and provide mentorship to younger students. Timothy is being recruited by multiple collegiate track and field programs, and he is currently finalizing his decision. He wants to pursue a degree in sports management or business and would like to eventually start his own athletic clothing brand.
Savannah Mauck has been a student at BCA since the 5th grade and currently has a 3.94 GPA. She is currently serving as President of the Senior class. She is an active member of BCA’s athletic program, as a part of the tennis team since the 6th grade and as a former member of the softball team. Savannah is a member of National Honor Society and Beta Club, and she is a member of the student-led prayer team on that serves on Fridays before and during chapel. She was also nominated to Homecoming Court this year as a Senior.
Outside of BCA, she is an active volunteer in the nursery at Bethlehem Church. Savannah has been accepted and has committed to attending the University of North Georgia this fall, where she plans to pursue a degree in business and eventually a career as a postpartum doula.
