Evi Houston and Amy Davison named BCA Seniors of the Month for April, May 2023
Congratulations to Evi Houston and Amy Davison, who were recognized last week at the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce luncheon as Bethlehem Christian Academy’s Seniors of the Month for April and May 2023.
Evi has been a student at BCA since 9th grade. She has a 4.0 GPA and is BCA’s Class of 2023 Salutatorian. She is a part of the National Honor Society, Beta Club and frequently helps as an intern in the lower school. Outside of BCA, Evi is a volunteer with the Athens Humane Society. After high school, Evi plans to attend Winthrop University as part of the Honors College to pursue a career in Elementary Education.
Amy has been at BCA for nine years and currently has a 3.92 GPA. She is part of the National Honors Society, Beta Club, and she volunteers with BCA’s student-led prayer team. Amy has been a standout volleyball player during her high school years; she has been all-region three times, as well as being a three-time team captain. She has also received all-state volleyball honors and been named to an all-star team. After high school, Amy plans to attend UNG Oconee online while she finishes her apprenticeship at a local salon. She hopes to transfer to UGA at the completion of her apprenticeship to get a degree in Psychology so she can become a college counselor. She would also like to use her degree for mission and church ministry work.
Our mission is to create a desire to know and serve God in the hearts of our students by equipping them academically, physically, spiritually, and socially to fulfill God's purpose for their lives.
BCA holds dual accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is a member of numerous professional and educational organizations including the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA), and the Atlanta Christian School Association (ACSA).
