Investing in Bethlehem Christian Academy
Why we should give? Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it.
Bethlehem Christian Academy is blessed with a community of cheerful givers who understand that while tuition pays the operational expenses, it is the generosity of donors that allows us to grow and expand. From a biblical perspective, when BCA asks you to give, our primary concern is to provide opportunities for you to lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21), and a secondary motive is to have you further God’s work by giving to BCA.
As a result of honoring God with a biblical approach to our giving and asking practices, we believe that in God’s time, He will supply all our needs (Philippians 4:19). In addition, we believe that as we honor God in doing things His way and relying on God changing hearts, the resulting joy-filled generosity will fully fund God’s work (Exodus 36:3-7).
We would encourage you to consider how your generous giving to BCA can become a joy for you as you honor God.
Most people think they should give to simply do good for mankind. Biblical stewardship stems from the understanding that God is the owner of all that we have, and we are managers of God’s resources. He has chosen to give us things to use for His glory. While “doing good for mankind” focuses on the individual who is giving, biblical stewardship focuses on the ownership of God.
